Say Something...About MICHELE 

 

Michele J. Miller, MS, CCC/SLP earned national certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in Maryland. 

Ms. Miller received her B.A. from Loyola University Maryland and M.S. from West Virginia University, with specialized training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication. 

 

In 35 years of practice, Ms. Miller served with Easterseals, United Cerebral Palsy, and Children's National Hospital in Washington DC.  She supervised graduate and undergraduate candidates in the Department of Speech Language Hearing Sciences at Loyola University Maryland. Ms. Miller designed and lectured courses in Phonetics, Articulation/Phonology, Advanced Phonology, Communication Disorders, Child Language Development, Linguistics and Diversity Practices. Presently, she conducts back-to-school speech and language screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and remediation services in a variety of settings.

 

Ms. Miller holds several ACE awards from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for continuing education. She is a member of the Maryland Speech-Language-Hearing Association (www.mdslha.org) and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (www.asha.org).

 

Ms. Miller raised two sons who enhanced every gray hair. She loves to dream, talk and eat her way through travel destinations domestic and abroad.
