Say Something...About MICHELE 

 

Michele J. Miller, MS, CCC/SLP earned national certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in Maryland. 

Ms. Miller received her B.A. from Loyola University Maryland and M.S. from West Virginia University, with specialized training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication. 

 

With over 30 years in practice, Ms. Miller practiced with the Easter Seal Society, United Cerebral Palsy of Central Maryland, and Children's National Hospital in Washington DC.  For 15 years, she taught and supervised students in the Department of Speech Language Hearing Sciences at Loyola University Maryland, while maintaining her private practice. Ms. Miller designed courses in Phonetics, Articulation/Phonology, Advanced Phonology, Communication Disorders, Child Language Development, Linguistics and Cultural Diversity. Presently, she organizes back-to-school school speech and language screenings, and provides diagnostic evaluations and remediation services in a variety of settings.

 

Ms. Miller proudly holds multiple ACE awards from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for continuing education. She is a member of the Maryland Speech-Language-Hearing Association (www.mdslha.org) and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (www.asha.org).

 

She is the mother of two sons who contributed to every gray hair. She loves to talk, eat and dream her way to travel destinations.
